INGREDIENTS

5 links uncased spicy sausage

2 fresno peppers sliced thin

3 large poblano peppers deseeded and diced

1 large red bell pepper deseeded and diced

1 onion diced

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 cup grated parm

12 peperoncini sliced

12 slices provolone

2 round 8 inch loaf bread, top cut off and most of the guts removed

Servings Makes 2 Stuffed Breads

INSTRUCTIONS

-Preheat oven to 400F

-Add uncased sausage to a medium sized pan. Cook over medium-high heat. Use a spatula to break sausage into smaller pieces as it cooks.

-Once the sausage is fully cooked, add onions, fresno, poblano, red bell and salt and reduce the heat to medium. Cook until the veggies are nice and tender.

-Remove from heat and mix in grated parm.

-Place the bread on a parchment lined baking sheet.

-For each bread layer; 3 slices provolone (on the bottom), 1/2 the sausage mixture, 1/2 the peperoncini and 3 slices provolone (on top)

-Bake for 12 minutes at 400F (on middle rack) and then broil for 2 minutes.
